Is golf your game of choice? Then we have the perfect course for you and lots of opportunities to play just a few rounds or perhaps participate in one of the many tournaments scheduled through the season.

The Hay River Golf Club, the only grass course North of 60, lies 10 kilometres south of the Town of Hay River on NWT Highway 2. This is a nine-hole course with beautiful fairways and greens and a clubhouse facility which includes equipment you might need, either for rent or purchase. You'll find everything you need there whether it's golf balls or gloves, a long cool drink, a meal, clubs or a place to sit back and relax after few hours on the greens.

While golfing holds sway until well into September, once there's enough snow down the Golf Club becomes the Hay River Cross Country Ski Club and instead of wielding golf clubs, people are out there with ski poles. Well-groomed, lighted trails allow skiers to indulge their sport 24 hours a day if they so desire!
