Hay River is more than just summer - as a matter of fact,
some of our most enjoyable times happen in a frosty world.
Come join us on a snowmobile ride, a dog sled run, a sliding
party, or just a walk or cross-country ski through a this
vast winter wonderland.

Snowmobile through some of the most spectacular scenery in
the Northwest Territories. Ride your machine through deep
canyons of the Hay River for 40 miles upstream and see the
spectacular Louise Falls from an angle few in the world have
seen - from the river (panoramic
view at the top of this page).

Explore
the vast Great
Slave Lake for true wilderness adventure. Or cruise with
a group of friends through miles of boreal forest on snowmobile
trails - all groomed for your enjoyment. (See
snowmobile maps)
It's all here - 12 months of the year!
