Great website. I have never been to Hay River, but am
interested in relocating to the north. Could someone provide me with info on homes for sale? It seems that there is work available - any recommendations? How is the school system - I have children in grades 10, 9 & 7. Any info would be so appreciated. Again, great website & thanks!! Chris

Just finished viewing your website. Very Nice! My son is
currently working in Hay River and he said it was a beautiful place, so I had to check it out. I lived in Ft. McMurray, Alberta for 7 years, so I have a general idea of the country. One thing I really miss about that country is the Northern Lights, I do hope my son gets a chance to see them while he's there. Oh and by the way if you see him working on the boats/barges say "hi" to him for me. Have a great day!

Hello to all my Northern friends. For those who do not know,there is an annual bash for all Pine Pointers at Greencourt, Alberta on August long weekend every year! Attendance is growing and its awesome to catch up with old friends and co-workers. Also there are a few Pine Point websites to check out if you're interested in finding out where everyone went!
This is a yahoo group I started last year for all Pine Pointers.

I've never been to Hay River but I wanted to go many years ago. I had a friend from Hay River that I lost contact with and hope that someone out there can help me get in contact with them. My friend's maiden name is Cindy Covert. I dont know if she is married or not but we used to be really good pen pals back in 1983 and 1984.
